In December 2025, CAC continued its partnership with the Bureau of Land Management with the installation of a backcountry trail register in Broken Bow Arch Canyon. This joint project to install trail registers with Leave No Trace information and an opportunity for visitors to record their visits without resorting to graffiti in these sensitive backcountry locations is another way the CAC is advocating for continued access by partnering with land managers to address challenges as our sport grows.
Similar projects in other BLM managed areas have shown to reduce the vandalism and graffiti, and CAC was able to help the BLM add more of these ammo can trail registers to some of their most visited slots as they continue to gain popularity and show impact from increase visitation.
